　　D405 is a macroporous styrenic mercury selective chelating resin that selectively adsorbs various forms of mercury, including organic and inorganic mercury, from mercury-containing solutions. Mercury adsorption is large, and mercury removal is thorough.

　　树脂再生方法(Regeneration Method)

　　D405树脂一般两柱串联使用。待后柱出水汞超标时，再生第一个柱。再生剂为浓盐酸(浓度≧25%)，用量为树脂体积的2-3倍，从上到下通，1-1.5小时通完。然后用清水洗至接近中性即可使用。

　　注意，使用的盐酸游离氯含量必须严格控制，应小于50mg/L，严禁使用含游离氯高的副产酸盐酸。否则树脂容易被氧化而失活。

　　因为D405汞选择性树脂对汞吸附容量大，如果原水汞含量在ppb级别，则树脂周期处理量将会很大，一个周期可达数月甚至一年。因此也有很多客户在树脂吸附饱和后选择不再生树脂，而是更换新树脂。这样做的好处是可以避免再生废液的处理。

　　D405 resin is generally used in two columns connected in series. When the mercury in the effluent of the second column exceeds the standard, the first column is regenerated. The regenerant is concentrated hydrochloric acid (concentration ≧ 25%), the amount is 2-3 times the volume of the resin, from top to bottom, pass through in 1-1.5 hours. Then wash withclean water to near neutral and then the resin is ready for next cycle.

　　Note that the free chlorine content of hydrochloric acid used must be strictly controlled and should be less than 50mg/L. It is strictly forbidden to use by-product acid containing high free chlorine. Otherwise the resin is easily oxidized and deactivated.

　　Because D405 mercury selective resin has a large adsorption capacity for mercury, if the raw water mercury content is at the ppb level, the resin cycle processing capacity will be large, and the cycle can be several months or even one year. Therefore, many customers choose not to regenerate the resin after the resin is saturated, but replace it with a new one. This has the advantage of avoiding the treatment of regeneration waste.
